Nurturing Our Partnership with Nature
Our Progess in 2024
Doing Our Part to Nurture Our Planet
At Mermaid Medical, we are increasing our focus on sustainability and we are doing what we can to limit our environmental footprint - one small (action) step at a time.
ISO 14001
2024 marks our first year of being ISO 14001 certified. Having a certified environmental management system is a milestone that we are proud of. Fostering a sense of shared ownership across our organization strengthens our performance and motivates our various teams to continuously refine and improve workflows.
In a time defined by escalating climate and environmental challenges, it’s essential for us to act proactively. Being ISO 14001 certified reflects our dedication to sustainability and environmental responsibility as a global player in the MedTech field.
Through ISO 14001, we follow a structured environmental management system that enables us to continuously minimize our environmental impact while identifying areas for resource and process optimization. That includes actions such as reducing energy consumption, managing waste effectively, and improving our supply chain's environmental footprint.
By making responsible choices and being dedicated to advancing our business in a sustainable direction, we also encourage our partners to adopt more sustainable solutions, thereby contributing to the sustainable agenda in an industry where patient safety will always be the number one priority.
